This workshop seeks to understand and identify the different agents, roles and spaces of the art world in Punta del Este and its surroundings. We will visit galleries, cultural centers and museums to learn about and understand how the contemporary art market and diffusion circuit works.

At the same time, this proposal seeks to strengthen ties between these institutions, the Bachelor of Visual Arts, and the Punta del Este Campus.

In the first instance, an approach will be made to the key and basic concepts about the art market and art diffusion circles to bring students closer to these concepts through active dynamics. This will be the starting point of what will be developed and deepened throughout the different days and activities. Secondly, talks will be held with leading guests to transmit a comprehensive and complex vision of the different roles and spaces, as well as work modalities.
